In preparation of the recent State visit of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the United Kingdom, CWEIC’s Country Chair for Nigeria, Olasupo Shasore, SAN, chaired a senior business roundtable hosted by the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC) in London.

The discussion brought together key stakeholders including Wale Edun, Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy; Aisha Rimi, Executive Secretary/CEO of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC); and Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Governor of Lagos State.

The session explored ways to strengthen Nigeria–UK trade, improve the investment climate, and unlock opportunities across sectors, including initiatives driving growth in Lagos.
