Olasupo Shasore, SAN, spoke at the 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀’ 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲, convened by the House of Representatives Committee on the National Decarbonisation Programme at the National Assembly Library & Resource Centre, Three Arms Zone, Abuja.

Held under the theme “𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲: 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗹,” the roundtable brought together stakeholders from government, industry, civil society and the development community to examine the proposed National Decarbonisation Bill and its role in strengthening Nigeria’s climate governance framework alongside the Climate Change Act 2021.
